DENTAL EXAMS & CLEANINGS
Dental Exam
A dental exam will be performed by the dentist at the patient’s consultation appointment. For regular check-up exams, the dentist will perform:
- Diagnostic X-rays
- Oral cancer screening
- Gum disease evaluation
- Tooth decay exam
- Examination of existing restorations
Dental Cleaning
A dental cleanings examination will be performed by one of our dental hygienists at Valley Alder Family Dentistry. The cleaning appointment will include a dental exam and the following:
- Removal of calculus (tartar)
- Removal of plaque
- Teeth Polishing
